Male domestic violence offenders are usually expected to attend group classes which are scheduled at convenient times of the day and evening to accomodate veritably any work shift. The classes are educational and cover a wide range of topics consistent with the topics referenced in the NH Batterers Intervention Standards as prepared by Batterers Intervention Sub-committee of the New Hampshire's Governor's Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence.
A variety of class exercises are utilized enabling participants to practice identifying patterns and issues that have previously led to incidences of domestic violence. In rare instances, men are provided with individual educational classes due to circumstances that don't allow for productive participation in group classes.
